Coordinator for Bird Safety

Cady Netland works as the Coordinator for Bird Safety at the Lab’s Center for Engagement in Science and Nature. She is responsible for coordinating outreach and education campaigns, partnerships, and other projects addressing anthropogenic threats to birds.

This involves investigating and sharing the causes, impacts, and solutions to major threats to birds as well as encouraging scalable bird-friendly practices from individual action to global activation.

Cady worked with BirdCast on the development of the new BirdCast website and assists with developing outreach plans and materials for bird safe action advocacy through BirdCast.
