Hermione currently works on the BirdFlow project, which models species movements at population scales throughout their annual cycle.

She works on understanding the migration connectivity of birds, and how the strength of those connections relates to species’ population changes over time.

This will help us understand how impacts (e.g., climate change, habitat loss) on one part of their annual cycle can cascade into the entire population.
