Raphaël Nussbaumer is a migration ecologist specializing in weather radar and multi-sensor geolocators for movement modeling. As an SNF Postdoc.Mobility Fellow at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, he contributed to BirdCast research on continental-scale nocturnal migration dynamics. His research integrates radar data, fluid flow models, and advanced geostatistics to quantify migration intensity and turnover.
